Unity provided a £963,200 loan to assist in purchasing 40 two and three bed properties, supported by an Empty Homes Grant. This means Winner Trading can refurbish and bring back into use derelict and disused properties across the city of Hull for women and children in need of safe homes.
Lisa Hilder, Director of Winner Trading, said “Unity Trust Bank, as our investment partner, has enabled us to borrow effectively to achieve our Empty Homes aspirations and to meet the aims of our organisation, providing safe, affordable homes for women and children escaping violence and abuse.”
