Sandwell Crossroads offers support and delivers high quality services to carers and people with care needs, and are committed to treating carers and people with care needs with respect and sensitivity, recognising the dignity and value of each person for whom the service is provided.
They provide a range of services to those living at home and requiring chronic illness and palliative care. In addition, they provide dementia information support for carers. All care , be it through home visits or group information support, is delivered through a network of care staff administered from their headquarters.
By leveraging a Unity Current Account with a Multipay Card, and funded with a £210,000 loan from Unity, Sandwell Crossroads have purchased a new Head Office facility to significantly increase available space. This not only increases capacity, but provides an improved training and operational space, and most importantly affords clients with a better experience. Whereas, previously, it was difficult to provide a private space for confidential interaction, the new facility will provide a professional and conducive environment to support clients’ needs when at their most vulnerable.
Helen Fletcher, Business Finance Manager, commented:
“Unity Trust Bank has supported Sandwell Crossroads and enabled us to purchase a new HQ building. We had outgrown our present rented property to the point that there were issues impacting on our efficiency and, importantly, staff and client privacy.
The new premises will, undoubtedly, enable us to grow and develop our services for the benefit of the community.
It was evident, from the outset, that Unity understood the challenges we faced and assisted us through this important phase in our development.”
