As the only charity in the region specialising in dementia care, Peaceful Place are launching the Supported Living Service to provide specialist accommodation to help people with dementia live more meaningful lives. They are doing this by building two specialised houses for six individuals with early onset of dementia, to meet their living needs. The £448,000 loan from Unity completes a 10 bed project that has specifically channelled work to local contractors.
