Unity Trust Bank is hiring six new Relationship Managers as part of its growth plans to support businesses across the UK.
The Birmingham based commercial bank is hiring in London, Birmingham and other locations across the country to meet increasing demand from businesses who are looking to make a positive social impact.
With around 22% of all SMEs recognised as socially orientated[1], a commercial bank with a social conscience provides a compelling differentiator. Whether it’s providing a community facility, adopting responsible working practices such as the real Living Wage, offering training and development opportunities or reducing carbon footprint, Unity is here to help.
Having supported businesses with almost £100m of new lending in 2017, Unity is making a further £100m of funding available in 2018.
Julia Tarpey, HR Director explains:
“We pride ourselves on being a ‘force for good’ – enabling socially conscious businesses to thrive. We are a very inclusive bank, with diversity across all roles and want like-minded experienced Commercial Relationship Managers to join our team, help us to achieve our plans, and shape how businesses access funding that aligns with their own values.
We have welcomed a dozen new Relationship Managers to Unity Trust Bank over the past two years – we are looking for people who might be disillusioned with mainstream banking, and see Unity is a different type of bank – where our ‘double bottom line’ strategy means that social impact is just as important as financial strength and in partnership we can support viable businesses to thrive and invest in the communities we collectively serve”.
