Card payment acceptance through our Partner Elavon is secure, simplifies commerce and enables businesses to reach more customers, helping you to grow confidently.

  • How do I speak to Elavon?

    You can speak to Elavon by calling them directly on 0800 917 7995, Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm. You can also ask to be referred to Elavon when speaking to a Unity Trust Bank member of staff. You will be asked to provide a few pieces of information about your business and give your consent to be contacted by Elavon, who will then call you for a conversation on how they can support your business needs with their card payment acceptance services.

  • How long does it take to speak to Elavon?

    Speaking to Elavon is quick and easy. If you call Elavon directly on 0800 917 7995 during their business hours (Monday-Friday 9.am-5.30pm), you will speak to them straight away. If you submit your request to speak to Elavon via a Unity Trust Bank member of staff, Elavon will call you for a conversation within the next 2 business days.

  • How much does it cost?

    The cost of your chosen services will be dependent on the extent of your payment needs. Pricing will vary accordingly. Pricing terms are agreed directly with Elavon and it is not possible to get this service cheaper by directly engaging Elavon. If you enter into a merchant services agreement with Elavon then Unity will receive a share of the fees you pay to them.

  • How quickly can I get funds?

    Funds will be paid to your Unity Trust Business Account or Instant Access Savings Account the next business day after payment.

  • Can I manage this service online?

    All customers will have access to Elavon Connect, an online platform that gives you quick and easy access to statements, account management tools, product alerts, and more.

    Elavon Connect gives you a complete view of all your card payment processing activity in one location.

  • What card payments can I accept?

    Payments can be accepted from all major scheme providers, some of which are shown below. Also allow your international customers to pay in their own currency, while you earn extra revenue for your business by sharing a percentage of the currency conversion fee.

    All major credit and debit cards are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diner’s Club, American Express, JCB, Apple Pay, Google Pay and China Union Pay

Elavon is responsible for all on-going queries, servicing, and complaints. To speak to them about any of this, please call Elavon’s customer support team on 0345 850 0195. They’re open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Call charges apply (up to 7p per minute), plus your telephone company’s network access charge (up to 30p per call) dependent on your phone or mobile network package. Please check with your network for further details.

  • Installation and set up
    An Elavon engineer will provide training when they install your terminal to help get you started.
  • Running your account
    You’ll have 24/7 access to your own online reporting tool to monitor your account.

If you enter into a merchant services agreement with Elavon then Unity will receive a share of the fees you pay to them.
